Islamic Economics Movement Launched

Indobusiness - Various financial institutions are encouraging Islamic Indonesian economy to thrive. Therefore, the Islamic Center of Economic Activity (PKES) launched a Shariah Economic Movement or abbreviated Gres.

"I hope the inauguration early Gres into something more could later make the promotion and education. Islamic economics so that massive and become more integrated," Halim said Alam, who is also Chairman PKES BI deputy governor, Friday (07/05/2013).

He said, that in fact Gres was launched since 2003, but the new can be realized this year. According to him, sharia has the great potential to develop the Indonesian economy. However, implementation is likely not optimal.

Halim said, the current banking and Islamic insurance still runs respectively. With the Gres, this course will be an umbrella for all the Islamic economy in Indonesia. He wants, there is synergy between the various Islamic programs in all financial institutions.

Gres Halim was confident that this would not conflict with the program or other Islamic institutions. Because, PKES has coordinated with various stakeholders. All stakeholders also agreed that this would be the mouthpiece Gres Islamic economy.

"We supported all associations or Islamic activists formal and informal economy," he admits.

Soon, it will be unveiled simultaneously Gres nationally. Halim hopes, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to inaugurate a program that directly supports the Islamic economy. (Annisa Aninditya Authority)
