Dinar Bank Plans To Open 20 Branches In The Next Two Years

Jakarta - PT Bank International Liman has changed its name to PT Bank Dinar Indonesia. Dinar bank partly owned by Boss Pikko Group, Nio Yantony is optimistic to extend credit amounting to Rp 800 billion in 2013.

"We hope by the end of 2013 loans may grow 230 percent compared to the end of 2012," said President Director of Bank Indonesia Hendra Lie Dinar in a press release on Thursday (07/01/2013). Hendra said that to achieve the target of USD 800 billion, Dinar Bank plans to open 20 branches in the next two years. "Branch office in Pluit a fifth of the plan to open 20 offices. This is a strategic step for us in developing the company's business," said Hendra.

All offices are planned to be built in Jakarta. Earlier, four offices Dinar Bank Indonesia has been operating in Jakarta and Surabaya. Hendra added this year, lending Dinar Bank Indonesia will continue to focus on the retail sector as well as some other sectors such as trade, construction, and services. Meanwhile, total public deposits or Third Party Funds (TPF) during 2013 is expected to reach USD 700 billion, growing 190% from the end of 2012. Thus, the company's total assets at the end of 2013 is projected to reach Rp1 trillion, or 93% of total assets in 2012 amounted to Rp 523 billion.
