Director of Bank Syariah Bukopin, Riyanto said, photocopy ban e-ID card will complicate banking activities. However, ID card must be attached in some banking transactions.
"If the e-ID card may be photocopied, bank activities will be difficult. Till now the right identification card must be attached in some banking transactions, such as opening new savings, deposits and opening others," said Riyanto, Tuesday (7/5 / 2013).
It was revealed Riyanto to respond to the circular of the Minister of Home Affairs No.. 471.13/1826/SJ, which essentially prohibits the copying of e-KTP. Through the circular Minister Gamawan Fauzi stressed that the e-ID card is not allowed to be photocopied, stapled, and other treatments that destroy the physical e-ID card.
According to a circular (SE), the government agencies, local governments, and private banking shall prepare the necessary technical completeness associated with the implementation of e-ID card, including data reader (card reader) as mandated by Article 10C Paragraph (1) and (2) Presidential Regulation number 67 of 2011.
Related to that Riyanto assess existing systems are not good in the implementation of e-KTP. If banks have to provide their own e-ID card reader, then it would be a waste for banks.
"If the banks have to have it mean that banks must invest at least one fruit on each branch office, and I also do not know how much it costs. Moreover, if the tool is needed, it would require a new adjustment," said Riyanto.
