In addition, the meeting was attended by Vice President Boediono, the ministers, the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Karen Agustiawan, National Police Chief Gen. (Pol) Pradopo East, Armed Forces Commander Admiral Agus Suhartono, and others.
Jero said the President will explain the decisions related to the fuel in the National Development Planning Meeting (Musrembangnas) at Bidakara, Tuesday (04/30/2013). The event will be attended by governors, district heads / mayors in Indonesia.
Jero explained, the option price is taken because of the community, including the House of Representatives, made two objections if fuel prices. Two prices are considered troublesome. Some of the governor, he said, also thinks the same.
"We as a government would listen to ideas in society. Many comments two prices why bother. Subjects bother, kaminya more troublesome. Adoption so we thought it was. Parliament also many comments should not be two prices," Jero said.
The amount of the increase is related, according to Jero, the government is still counted. However, Jero will ensure the new fuel prices below Rp 6,500 per liter. "So it's likely the price according to the wishes and under Rp 6,500 per liter," he concluded.
As reported, the government plans to reduce fuel subsidies for private car users, by applying a premium price in the range of Rp 6,500 per liter. Meanwhile, motorcyclists and public transport can still buy Premium at Rp 4,500 per liter.
