Gita Wirjawan: Trade Balance ASEAN countries Majority Deficit

"Many who do not know the balance of trade with each ASEAN country's majority had deficits," said Gita as logistics workshop under the theme 'Challenges and Opportunities Facing Global Markets Logistics Indonesia' in Audiotrium Ministry of Trade, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/4 / 2013).

He said the AEC will be opened in 2015. It means no more time to calmly look at the current state.

"Many are still not aware of approximately 20 months, that we had entered into the area of ​​the free economy in Asean countries. So any country in Southeast Asia can deliver the goods at the rate of 0 to a minimum," he said.

Gita emphasize the AEC to consider is the competitiveness of the product. Even then, of course, according to the Gita can not hope fully to the manufacturer, but the company also services, such as logistics services.

"This we have to react and improve our competitiveness and certainly strived hard work of the producers but hand offender services, including logistics services to export our products abroad in order to get a good balance," he explained.
