Investors Continue to Remove Their Shares

Indobusiness - The Composite Stock Price Index-stricken continued profit-taking after rising rapidly last week. Closing trade on Wednesday (10/04/2013), JCI trimmed 22.112 points, or 0.45 percent, to 4877.475.

While the LQ45 index fell 4,360 points, or 0.53 percent, to 822.865. Kompas100 index fell 6.18 points to 1063.13.

There are only two sectors still survive in the green zone is the agricultural sector, which gained 0.14 percent and 1.31 percent stronger consumer. Eight sector closed negative, led by various industry sectors.

Total trading today at Rp 7.6 trillion. Foreign investors continued to divest itself of shares with net sales of Rp 148 billion.

Asian bourses closed the trade with variety. Shanghai index edged up 0.35 points, or 0.02 percent, to 2226.13. The Hang Seng Index rose 164.22 points, or 0.75 percent, to 22034.56. Nikkei 225 index rose 95.78 points, or 0.73 percent, to 13288.13.
