After 13 Years Seduced, Pelni Finally Use Pertamina Lubricant

Indobusiness - Director of Marketing and Commerce disclosed Hanung Budya Pertamina, Pertamina since 2001 in order to seduce Pelni use pelumnas Pertamina in any Pelni. "Phase initially 10 pelumnas Pelni use of our 3-year contract with 50,000-100,000 liters volume for the initial charge with a value of Rp 20 billion and 30,000 liters for charging per month with a value of USD 6 billion per month," said Hanung.
Hanung hopes that all ships Pelni both freighter and passenger can use lubricating oil from Pertamina. "Hope we all could use oil Pelni Pertamina," he said. Added Hanung, Directorate of Marketing & Commercial Lubricants business unit is currently the largest oil producer in Indonesia with a production capacity of approximately 600,000 kiloliters (KL) per year with a market share of approximately 60 percent in the domestic market. Recently, Pertamina also has signed contracts to supply lubricant plant with PT PLN (Persero) through two subsidiaries, PT Indonesia Power and PT Jawa Power Bali.
In addition, Pertamina lubricant has been exporting to 24 countries in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Pertamina Lubricants business unit has also been successful and gain the confidence to make the filling VLCC tankers at Fujairah which increasingly reflects the growing consumer confidence in the quality lubricant products, including overseas consumers.
As known, Pertamina Lubricants business is supported by the form of three production facilities Blanding Lube Oil Plant (LOBP) and one plant grease. Moreover, to ensure the quality, supported by the Laboratory and Product Development Used Oil Analysis Laboratory (Oil Clinic) who has had ISO certification and KAN.
