Lawyers for the employees of PT Metro Batavia (Batavia Air), Odie Hudiyanto, said the verdict will be read at the Engine Shop Batavia Air Soekarno-Hatta area of Tangerang, on Monday (11/03/2013) at 10.00. "It was the decision of the Tangerang Manpower punish Batavia Air employee severance pay amounting to Rp 14.1 billion," said Odie, Monday.
Previously, the Department of Labor has given a memorandum Tangerang recommendation to Batavia Air to immediately provide severance pay to employees. Party curator who is now in charge of all the assets of the Batavia Air was menyanggupinya although not yet explained when the severance payment.
Odie and his team have done an inventory of assets remaining Batavia Air. In a note, there are assets in the form of nine houses currently occupied by Batavia Air flight attendants, and there are two apartments which are all there in the Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
There is also an asset in the form of 35 units of vehicles Toyota Avanza classmates who currently resides in the office of the former Batavia Air. The condition of the car is still safe because it is guarded by security forces that have been designated by the curator. "Great value all assets reached Rp 800 billion. I think that's enough to pay for employee severance," he said.
