PT Pertamina Oil Well In Borneo Produce A Profit of Rp 5 Billion per Day

Jakarta - PT Pertamina has oil fields in North Borneo, the field Bunyu. The oil wells in this field produce a profit of Rp 5 billion per day to the state-owned oil and gas.

It was submitted by the General Manager of Pertamina EP Eastern Indonesia (KTI) Satoto Agustono when met at Pertamina Central Office, Jakarta, Friday (02/15/2013). "In the Field Bunyu precisely in BN-18 in North Borneo, 1 well could produce 5,000 barrels per day, that could provide benefits dirupiahkan Rp 5 billion per day," said Satoto.

Satoto be said, is an area of 187.5 km2 Bunyu field, and the first run of the Dutch in 1901. "In 1957 and taken over by Nlam Permindo, then switch to Pertamina in 1968, renamed Pertamina and PT Ustraindo operated in 1993-1994, and in 1995 was taken over Pertamina's back up now," he said.

Currently, said Satoto, oil production in the Field Bunyu reach 10,000 barrels per day. "Oil production in the Field Bunyu reach 10,000 barrels per day, but the average production reached 7420 barrels per day," said Satoto.
